The official recommendations from the National Highway
Transportation Safety Board: “Protect passengers with a seat belt
policy; select an experienced driver; make sure the driver is not
fatigued or driving too fast; properly maintain your tires; and avoid
placing any load on the roof – that increases the chance of
rollover.”
