- For some events, the pre-event costs (reservations,
transportation, publicity, office expenses) are high and others
fairly low, but a deposit policy needs to be uniform across all
events to avoid confusion.
- Establish a standard deposit amount for week-end events and
week long events.
- Do not accept a reservation based on a promise to get the
deposit in. No deposit, no reservation.

Deposits and reservations
It is generally a good idea to change a non-refundable deposit for major (expensive) events.
