Somewhere
 around the third day away from home, kids (and counselors and
 directors) get testy, uncooperative and tend to break into cliques
 if not warring factions.  In other words, the thin veneer of
 civilization wears off and everyone wonders why they are stuck with
 all these tacky people.  This is the “Third Day Out Syndrome
 (3DOS).”
